In other news, an actual play of Flabbergasted just went live by Chaotic Neutral! This actual play also uses our Mystified expansion as it includes an Occultist archetype 🙂 We're so thrilled with this actual play, we were in stitches the entire time! They really captured what Flabbergasted is all about.

It's time for a quick check-in!

Firstly, we're doing amazing with unlocking stretch goals! Since our last check-in we've unlocked two more stretch goals. Firstly, a new additional short murder mystery has been unlocked that takes place on a boat! This was highly requested and we can't wait to get working on it 🏝️🌅⛵

We've also unlocked Supported sheets for roll20! We'd love to look into other platforms like Foundry and Alchemy for Flabbergasted as well for the future.



Lastly, we've uncovered two more stretch goals! These ideas were given by backers in our last update - thank you so much! Firstly, at 35k, we're writing a Pet Supplement PDF that will be included in all pledge levels, including digital ones! This will be a digital supplement all for your furry friends. We know how important pets are in the world of Flabbergasted 🐕🐩🐇🐈

And lastly, at 45k we'll be adding two additional short mysteries, this time to cover the other two flavours of mysteries in our book.

Hello Wanderers!

It's time for a quick check-in on what we've got planned for this week!

Firstly, let's talk about stretch goals! We're about 1.3k away from the most requested stretch goal - another murder mystery campaign to be included in Mystified! After that, we have the next highly requested stretch goal, which is to add VTT support! Our current plan is to get flabbergasted and mystified sheets supported onto Roll 20. With that being said, we will also be looking into getting Flabbergasted onto Foundry and Alchemy.

Please keep giving us your suggestions for stretch goals... we're running low on ideas 😂 




In other news, we have a stream going live tonight here on Backerkit and youtube, where we'll be going over references and easter eggs that we've snuck into Flabbergasted! This stream is going live at 8:30pm CET | 1:30pm CST. Come join us in the chat!

We also have a Q&A scheduled over at the Randomworlds TTRPG Discord chatroom that is taking place on Saturday 6th April at 8:00pm CET | 1:00pm CST.

Next week we'll also have another actual play going live by none other than Chaotic Neutral/No Rolls Barred ;)

Hello Wanderers!

It's a few days into the campaign and we've already unlocked 3 stretch goals!

Mystified will now include gold foil on the cover as well as a ribbon - just like Flabbergasted has! We've also unlocked an upgrade to the director's screen, where we'll commission an artist to design something wholly new and custom for the screen! All physical orders will also get a free flabbergasted sticker sheet added automatically!



With stretch goals unlocked, it also means that more stretch goals get revealed! Oooo...
Upcoming is a guide to the occult in the 1920s - this will be illustrated and include cultural context and history of occult and spiritualism. This will be printed in Mystified. After that we have a velvet dice bag upgrade to the Flabbergasted dice set. Which means instead of being packaged in an acrylic box, it will come in nifty velvet bag!

For our most recently revealed stretch goal... we looked at your comments and poll results and we'll be including an additional one-shot mystery for Mystified that will be set on a steam train! Who doesn't love a locked-room mystery?



There are more stretch goals to be revealed so please keep leaving your suggestions!

In other news, the actual-play group Hijinks Org has just released an actual play of Flabbergasted featuring the new archetypres found in Mystified! Watch 3 misfits uncover a series of secrets and schemes...

Also, aren't the set design and costumes so absolutely gorgeous? Positively dashing!

Hello Wanderers!

That's incredible! We're so grateful to everyone who's backed our campaign, shared it or supported us in any way. 🫶 Not only have we funded in these last 2 days, but we've also unlocked 2 of our stretch goals!

We've unlocked a book upgrade! Mystified will come with gold foil lettering on the cover and a gold ribbon.
We've also unlocked an upgrade to the Director's Screen - we will be commissioning a custom illustration for the screen! If there's anything you'd love to see on this illustration, let us know in the comments below  ✨

Lastly, on launch day we had our very own launch party (our first stream!) and chatted with Chaotic Wholesome about Flabbergasted and Mystified.

We have more streams planned in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
